Reggie Cutbill ¹

  Noted events in his life were:

1. Occupation. As a young man joined South African Mounted Police and was an early settler who went into Southern Rhodesia with Cecil Rhodes. He fought in the Matabele and South African Wars and afterwards took a commission in the British Army. CO in the British Army of the Rhine (1920). He retired as a Colonel about 1934 and became a Knight of Windsor and lived in the Castle.

3. Retirement. Retired to County Fermanagh in Northern Ireland.

Reggie married Edie Bearne, daughter of Lewis Edward Bearne and Ada Louise Symons.
