Since our last update, Richard Goss has kindly sent us an account of his search for his Bearne history (now available on the site in 'Histories'. The additional detail it contains enabled us to link his line to Peter Bearne (b 1742) and Jane Greep, who formed part of our primary tree. This makes Richard Goss Paul's 6th cousin once removed (or so the Legacy programme tells us)! |

The DOB we currently have for Jane Greep makes her considerably older than her husband and over 50 at the birth of a number of her children. Can anyone correct this with new evidence? |

You can post your message, using the formatting tags if you want to and know how (this message has not been formatted). Then other people can read and reply to your message, forming a 'string' of messages on a particular topic. By ticking the box 'Notify of replies' at the bottom of the form where you type in your message, you can be e-mailed whenever anyone responds to your message. You can indicate the nature of the topic by choosing a message icon (the light bulb in the case of this message). You can also add 'smileys' to the message - by clicking on them as you type in your text. You can also create a user 'Profile' (see the task bar above the messages), into which you can insert a graphic or a photo of yourself if you can give a web reference for one, as well as a standard signature and message. For further information, please click on the 'Help' icon. |
